Let's Get A Little More Personal!

Girl, I decided to escape from what everyone considers to be the "norm" and really dig deep to find out how to do the things that I really want to do!  You know what I did different? 

I JUST JUMPED OFF THE PORCH SIS!!!

My sister-in-love tells me all the time to do it scared!  That is the absolute truth!  Often times we let fear take over and then we stand in our own way..  Thanks to my recent mid-life crisis (yes, you read it right. LOL), I have found blogging and it has completely changed my life.

HAVE YOU EVER HAD A MID-LIFE CRISIS?   

I SURE HAVE!

I bet you are thinking... mid-life?  LOL!  Girl, I am 41!  If you are around my age I am sure you have probably had several already LOL!  Girl, I thought I was doing everything right.  I went to college right out of High School.  I have always had 2 jobs all through college so I didn't have to ask my parents for anything.  After I graduated college I got my first REAL job at 23 and made more money than I had ever made in my life!  I was selling cell phones back in 2007 making about $20/hour + monthly commissions of over $5k-10k/month.  

I'm not going to lie to you and act like I have this rags to riches story because I don't.  But life has not been easy ya'll!  I'm a millennial and I came up right when the Internet was transitioning from dial-up to cable and broadband (Yes.... I'm OLD).  I fell off the train somewhere because when I got laid off in 2009 in the G.W. Bush recession I lost everything!  Girl, I lost my house and my car.  I also had to move back home with my parents and file for bankruptcy! This was before I turned 30 lawd!

Fast forward to my mid 30s; I went back to graduate school and got myself in even more debt.  I still have a ridiculous amount of student loans that I would love to never think bout!  

Now I'm in my 40s finally back on my own, but I still was not happy with the way things were so I decided to tap into my entrepreneurial spirit.  Girl, I have tried several different small businesses and ideas. 

There is an influencer on IG who I absolutely love.  She was advertising a course that would teach me all about Digital Marketing.  I'm so glad that I was able to take the course in about a week!  I learned how to apply those techniques and make my own way FINALLY!!

Blogging (writing) is my passion and when you do what you love everything gets easier.  I'm here to teach you the way!  We are going to learn how to make $5k-10k months outside of that job sis!
